Fall into Itch-Free Living.

With all this time spent outdoors, remember that you aren’t the only ones enjoying the last days of the beautiful weather! Mosquitoes and ticks are still extremely active in New Jersey in the fall months. While out hiking, attending fall festivals and exploring the orchards, consider wearing long pants and shirts and tuck your socks over your pants to avoid mosquito and tick bites. When you and your family get home, shower right away and wash your clothing on high heat.

Many ticks survive the winter and do not go away just because it is cold. Depending on the species – and stage in their life cycle – ticks survive the winter months by going dormant or latching onto a host. While mosquitoes cannot withstand temperatures below 50 degrees, their eggs may remain dormant in freezing water and overwinter until warmer weather thaws them in the spring.

Enjoy your own backyard in this beautiful weather by making sure it’s bite-free! Mosquito Joe is still treating for ticks! Contact us to discuss our treatments and how we can create a barrier in your yard! Call us for a free quote at 732-228-8092 or email us at

  • Save yourself some bucks and several bites. Until the end of April, you have the opportunity to take 10% off your entire season of barrier treatments. You heard us – 10%! That means more money in your pocket for that summer vacation.
  • Check it off your list. Getting your treatments scheduled early means you have more time for other activities. Not to mention, peace of mind knowing you’re covered for the entire summer.
  • Fully enjoy your summer. Rest easy when you let your kids and pets outside to play. They won’t track in unwanted guests or come back covered in bites.
  • Host the event of your dreams! Thinking about having a pool party, bridal shower, wedding, graduation party, or barbeque in your backyard? Having an itch-free yard all summer means planning in advance because you know mosquitoes and ticks won’t ruin your event.
